Park Wildflowers

Bee-balm has bright red flowers, pungent foliage and leaves. Amazingly it is in the mint family and has become a popular garden plant. Don't dig them from the wild however as this is illegal. Bee-balm has a long bloom season lasting from July through October. You can find them in the park on Clingman's Dome Road, and on the Kanati Fork Trail.
