The Village Shops are quite simply a Smoky Mountain treasure and have been for years. The shops are a collection of 27 unique stores in the heart of Gatlinburg and modeled after old world marketplaces. Included in The Village Shops are craft shops, eateries, art stores, women's fashions, jewelry shops, a wedding chapel, and many more specialty stores. The world was traversed for ideas by the developers of this shopping paradise who acquired roofing slates, trim moldings, carved doors, antique gas lighting fixtures, and handmade bricks to create a wonderful and delightful Alpine mood in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains.
