Campgrounds - Inexpensive and casual, these facilities cater to tent campers, RV owners, or a combination of both. Rod's Guide to the Smoky Mountains features a directory of all three types, and also includes a special section adapted from Johnny Molloy's suggestions in his new guide "The Best in Tent Camping: Smoky Mountains". Average cost per night: $8 for tent sites.
