antiques, collectibles, crafts and art from the most gifted local and regional
talent, then look no further. Wears Valley Antique & Craft Gallery
is a "must see for the most entertaining and educational insight into
Appalachian life in and around the Great Smoky Mountains.
Ken and Sharon Ashton, owners, have expanded an interest in antiques
and collectibles into a showcase of Americana, both old and new. Opening
on December 1, 1991 in beautiful Wears Valley, they paved the way for others,
being the only attraction here for three years. They enjoy a reputation
with many folks as the most interesting and fun place to see.
As you browse through the fascinating displays, you will be amazed
by the many varied items of interest including the Canadian White Cedar Log
Furniture, of which the Ashtons were the original dealers in Sevier County.
Among the collection from times past are antique tools, including farm tools,
furniture, primitives, grist mills and Hit & Miss Engines, and countless
other treasures.

& More
The works of several area artists are featured, each in a special
place
insuring full attention to their talents. Among these are Lee Roberson,
Randall Ogle and Terry Chandler, renowned for paintings which visualize
life in times past. Rick Cain, whose sculptures depict wildlife, offers
a unique display. For Civil War historians there are many items of interest,
including sculptures by Rod Mench.
A varied selection of musical tapes can be enjoyed as you look around.
Segments from 'The Heartland Series" videos can be viewed. Famous
for depicting life past and present in Appalachia, they are shown locally
on WBlR-TV, Channel 10.
On display you will find glassware, rockers, flags and banners, toys,
baskets, Yankee candles, books and cards, Lilliput Lane, cider presses,
Watkins products, Robinson Ranshottom pottery, and an infinite variety
of collectibles. Enjoy one of the most unique attractions you will ever

Cabin Rental
Wears Valley is one of the most beautiful spots to be found
anywhere in the Great Smoky Mountains. Many folks spend an enjoyable vacation
here every year. Located between Pigeon Forge and Townsend, you will find

A Log Cabin is available for rental next door. Cozy, well
