During the past few years Cherokee's
accommodations offerings have grown faster than anywhere
else in western North Carolina, and today the reservation
boasts 28 campgrounds and nearly
100 cabins. Depending on the
property or campground, a wide choice of amenities are available
including fireplaces, jacuzzis, picnic areas, grills, swimming
pools, and handicapped facilities.
Since Cherokee and western North Carolina
are seasonal destinations, many motels, cabins and campgrounds
close between December 1 through March or April. However,
several do remain open to accommodate visitors during the
late Fall and Winter months.
